Wear Outfits with the right fit.

So many women spend money on clothes without considering their body type and shape. The fact that an outfit looks good does not mean it is a proper fit for you. The key to looking stylish is to wear perfectly fitted clothes that compliment your figure.

Avoid wearing oversized clothes with saggy waistlines. If they don’t fit, have them altered!

Stop Buying Boring Clothes, Say Hello to Classy Outfits

The word “boring” can mean a variety of things. It could be color, having the same type of outfit, or even a cloth pattern. Take a look at the clothes you have in your closet. Do they excite you? Do they look similar? You might want to give it a good edit.

For tops, trying out floral patterns, lacy, or silk tops in different colors enhances your appearance. These tops can be paired with neutral-colored bottoms of different shapes. I love skirts a lot and therefore prioritize skirts that flatter my waist.

A well-fitted black dress is a great choice for a classy look. When in doubt, wear black! Black looks great on all skin types. A structured blazer, trench coat, or scarf can create a finishing touch for any outfit.

Work with Neutrals and Basics

A subtle look is always elegant so it is important you get a good grip on basics that work well for you. Basics like tank tops, round necks, hoodies, and knitwear will save cost and also make you more stylish.

Natural, neutral colors such as beige, brown, cream, grey, black and white are always classy. They look expensive when mixed with other cool colors. Regardless of how much you spent, you’ll look more put together wearing neutral tones.

Keep it Minimal

Sometimes, less is more. As much as possible, you want to keep the details to a minimum. Your accessories do not need to draw attention if your outfit is already making a statement. A basic top can be paired with an embellished blazer.

Wear Monochromes

Monochromes are always effortless and elegant for women who have mastered the art of combining colors and outfits. Wearing an outfit in one color is stylish and also less expensive. The great thing about monochrome outfits is that you can do any color you like. Now, the question of how to dress in all one color comes to mind. The best way to do so is by incorporating lighter and darker tints of your selected color to avoid looking one-dimensional. Take black for example, you want to combine the tones well so as not to look like you are going to a funeral.

Pick the Right Accessories

Invest in accessories and statement pieces that make you look more polished. The number one statement piece is a good quality handbag. It doesn’t need to be a designer handbag, leather is a good investment. Sometimes, a clutch or a small handbag is suitable for an evening outing or an event.

A classy wristwatch and sunglasses will also elevate your look. Sunglasses are summer must-haves. You can pick simple and less embellished pairs. Scarves and hats are also used in accessorizing an outfit. They take you from laidback to glamorous.

Personal Grooming

This is important to enhance appearance, as well as personal hygiene. It is the maintenance of body parts for a great appearance. Maintaining your hair, keeping your nails clean, smelling great, and having healthy and glowing skin. Let’s face it, we all feel confident with that naturally glowing skin.
